With family roots tracing back to Sicily\, he established what would become a longtime local family tradition. \nIn 2008\, Angelo’s expanded to Hernando with its Citrus Hills location\, transforming what had previously been a gas station through extensive demolition and renovations. \nThree decades after it all began\, Angelo’s remains a family business\, with Angelo Sr. and Angelo Jr. continuing the tradition while constantly working to improve and evolve what they do. \nAngelo’s has also become a special place for Pizza Lovers of Florida. I’ve reviewed their pizza multiple times. The Angelo’s Margherita is one of my favorite pizzas in Florida! 🏆🍕 \nToday\, they continue to push their pizza program forward with long cold-fermented dough made with Caputo flour\, homemade sauces and dressings\, premium ingredients and fresh herbs. Their menu has also evolved beyond their New York-style roots to include Detroit\, Sicilian and Grandma-style pizzas. \nBut this celebration is about much more than just great pizza.
